DPC # 3 gallery inclined portion (dimension 42.363m x 3.6 m x 3.0 m).  From 3.3 mtr after middle support got collapsed.

1. The critical observation raised by third party during visual inspection in the year Jan 2018 was under repair. Some of the observations were missing of bracing members, corrosion, insufficient welding at some locations, worn out Splice joints etc.

2. Enhancement of DPC capacity from 210 TPH to 450 TPH. It is informed that the supporting gallery was not reviewed for additional loads.

3. Effective span of gallery increases to 45.5 mtr after modification done in 1996 for increasing the height of DPC. The gallery was again not reviewed and the drawing was release by internal plant team.

4. It is observed that the top & bottom chord physical connections detail was not as per drawing and also not arranged in staggered way.
